Meet Duke — an absolutely adorable black and white Labrador Retriever mix with the biggest, happiest smile and a heart full of love just bursting at the seams. This sweet 9-month-old boy arrived at the shelter on April 10th, and from the moment he got here he has been charming absolutely everyone he meets. At just 35 pounds and still growing, Duke is right in the most magical stage of puppyhood — and the person who brings him home is going to gain the most wonderful best friend they have ever had.
 
Duke already knows how to sit and is as eager to please as they come — a puppy who wants nothing more than to make the people around him happy. He is playful and full of life, the kind of dog who will make you laugh every single day and remind you of all the pure and simple joys that only a dog can bring into a home. Everything about this boy says he was made to be someone's very best friend.
 
Duke is heartworm negative, up to date on all of his vaccines, and neutered. He is healthy, happy, and completely ready for the adventure of a lifetime with the right person by his side. At just 9 months old he has his whole beautiful life ahead of him, and every single day of it deserves to be spent loved and cherished.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
