Meet Duke!

This sweet boy was found abandoned on a quiet rural road in East Texas, but everything changed when a kind, dog-loving couple spotted a little head peeking up out of a ditch. From a ditch puppy to a loving foster home, Duke was lucky to be peeking up at the right time.

Duke is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He loves exploring the outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and tossing his toys around—but he’s just as happy being a total cuddle bug with his people. He has that easygoing, laid-back country charm that makes him such a joy to be around, and he loves other dogs too!

Duke was born with hip dysplasia requiring surgery on both hips—but you’d never know it now. He has fully recovered, and his true playful spirit is shining through. He loves chasing and wrestling with his canine foster siblings and keeping up with all the fun.

We believe Duke is a large-breed mix—possibly Lab, Shepherd, or Great Pyrenees. Whatever his mix, he’s full of love, curiosity, and a sweet, loyal nature.

Duke is ready to keep learning, growing, and sharing all that love with a family of his own. 🐾💛
