Luna – Loyal, Loving, and Ready for Her Real Forever
Luna’s story didn’t start the way she deserved… but we know her best chapter is still ahead.
Adopted as a puppy, Luna spent the first 6 years of her life in a home—until everything changed through no fault of her own. She found herself back in rescue and, from December 2023 to March 2026, waited patiently without a foster home to call her own.
Now finally in a foster home, Luna is showing us who she truly is—and she’s incredible.
At 9 years old (May 2026), Luna is the perfect blend of calm and connection. She’s past the puppy chaos and fully understands how to be a wonderful companion. She still enjoys her walks, loves her snacks, and is happiest simply being near her person.
Luna is a smart, devoted girl who forms a deep bond. She knows sit, paw, lay down, and even “dance,” and she’ll happily show off her adorable howl on cue. She’s very food-motivated and eager to please.
She has a natural protective instinct and will make you feel safe, loved, and never alone. If you’ve ever wanted a loyal shadow who’s always by your side, Luna is your girl.
Luna is also a sensitive soul who thrives in a calm, predictable environment. Because of this, she would do best as the only pet, where she can fully relax and feel secure in her space. Once she knows she’s safe, her affectionate and loyal personality truly shines.
Like many dogs her age, Luna has a little stiffness at times, but it’s well managed with supplements—and it doesn’t stop her from enjoying life, her walks, or time with her people.
Senior dogs like Luna make some of the very best companions:
✨ calmer energy
✨ already trained
✨ deeply loyal
✨ grateful for every moment
Luna has spent far too long waiting. Now she just needs someone who will choose her—for good.
