Hi I am Kali, a Lab/Plott hound mix born approx 4/11/23.

I’ve been told I’m an absolute dream (I won’t argue with that). I’ve got a super sweet personality, soulful eyes, and a gorgeous brindle coat that tends to turn heads wherever I go. But what really makes me special is how much I love being with my people. I’m happiest just hanging out ряР́Ð3⁄4Ð1⁄4 you, whether we’re relaxing at home or heading out on a little adventure.

I’m fully potty trained and crate trained—no accidents, no messes, no trouble. I sleep quietly in my crate at night and settle in there when my humans are away during the day. I go in without a fuss, though I might let out a few barks while you’re gone just to say, “Hey, I miss you!” When you’re home, though, I’m nice and quiet and content.

I’ve got great manners, if I do say so myself. I know commands like come, sit, and shake, and I always try to be polite—like waiting to be invited onto the furniture. I’ve learned not to jump on people, and while I do my best, sometimes my excitement gets the better of me and I might do a little happy hop in front of you. I’m smart and eager to learn, so I just keep getting better every day.

I’m friendly, gentle, and love meeting new people and dogs. I’ve been very respectful with the senior dog in my home and enjoy having a companion around. I walk nicely on a leash and absolutely love being outside—whether it’s a walk, a car ride, or a new adventure. I’ve got a nice moderate energy level: I enjoy activity, but I’m just as happy curling up next to you for some snuggles.

I haven’t spent time with young kids or cats in my current home, but I’ve done well with both before. Mostly, I just want to be loved and included.
