Gabby was one of only two surviving puppies raised by a stray mother along a lonely southern roadside.When just a year old, she became a mother herself, caring for her own puppies. Kind rescuers stepped in, bringing Gabby and her little family to safety, where she lovingly raised her pups in a sheltered space before they all transitioned into foster care. Today, Gabby, her puppies, and her sister are all safe--and all hoping to find the forever homes they deserve.

Gabby has a meek and mild temperament that makes her truly special. Newly rescued, she can be a bit timid at first, still learning that the world is no longer a scary place. But beneath that initial shyness is a dog who is deeply eager to please and ready to bond--she simply needs a patient, loving person to show her the way. She looks to her humans for reassurance and will happily follow their lead, blossoming more each day as her confidence grows.

Gabby is house trained, keeps her crate clean, and settles nicely when crated. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and would make a lovely companion for a home that already has a furry friend. She's new to leash walking but is making great progress, and she rides fine in the car.
