DESCRIPTION
Merle is a vert sweet puppy who has had a very rough start to his short little life so far. he was rescued at 2 weeks old out of a man made bunker in a field in the middle of nowhere. He was infested with worms, which we took care of with 2 rounds of De Wormer. Just when this little guy thought he was safe, the foster kitties in the home had knocked a frame off the cabinet which fell right onto Merle's leg and broke it. He was a resilient little trooper and he hung in there when it got tough. We are happy to say he has made a full recovery and is getting spoiled with love and training now. He is catching onto routine and learning very quickly. He is not potty trained but he is pad trained and crate trained. He liked to sleep in his crate but he prefers to sleep with humans better. He is a considerate puppy too and will not pee or poop on the human bed. If interested in meeting Merle and his Pawsome personality, please complete the adoption application and someone will call you once reviewed and approved to schedule a 1 on 1 meet and greet with Merle,.
ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
