Duke may only have three legs, but don't tell him that-this happy boy is far too busy enjoying life to let it slow him down!

New to Baypath, we're still getting to know Duke's personality, but we've already fallen for his sweet nature and infectious enthusiasm. His friends in Florida had wonderful things to say about him, and we can't wait for our adopters to discover just how special he is.

Duke is an active, playful boy who loves being with his people. Whether he's joining you for an adventure, showing off his training skills, or simply hanging out by your side, Duke is happiest when he's part of the family. He has attended formal training and already knows commands like sit, down, and come.

In his previous home, Duke lived successfully with both dogs and cats and has done well with kids. While he may be a little reserved when meeting someone new, it doesn't take long for Duke's friendly personality to shine through.

Duke is also reported to be house trained and enjoys having a cozy place to relax after a day of fun. Like many dogs, he has a few quirks-thunderstorms aren't his favorite, and he'll appreciate a family that can help him feel safe when the weather gets loud.

Most of all, Duke is proof that resilience comes in the cutest package. Despite having only three legs, he's ready to run, play, learn, and love with his whole heart. We're excited to learn even more about this amazing boy, but one thing is already clear: Duke is ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter with a family of his own.
