Meet Kimchi!

Kimchi's story is one of resilience, second chances, and a whole lot of love. When he first arrived at our partner shelter in Florida, he was severely underweight and in need of care. Thanks to the dedication of his shelter friends, Kimchi has blossomed into the happy, healthy, handsome boy he was always meant to be.

Now this special guy has made his way to Baypath, and while we're still getting to know his personality, we're already falling in love.

Kimchi is the definition of a gentle giant. He's an easygoing, affectionate boy who loves spending time with his people. Whether he's leaning in for pets, lounging by your side, or soaking up attention from visitors, Kimchi is happiest when he's part of the family.

Our friends in Florida shared that Kimchi is friendly, playful, good with children, and has done well with other dogs. In shelter playgroups, he was social, playful, and easygoing with his canine friends.

During a shelter sleepover, Kimchi showed everyone just how easy he is to live with. He was house trained, settled quickly on the couch or in his crate, walked beautifully on leash, rode calmly in the car, and even happily tolerated bath time. He knows several commands, including sit, stay, come, and paw, enjoys toys and long-lasting chews, and has a low-to-medium energy level that makes him a wonderful companion for both adventures and lazy afternoons.

If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a heart of gold, a calm presence, and plenty of love to give, Kimchi may be the dog you've been waiting for. We can't wait to learn more about this amazing boy-and we have a feeling his future family is going to fall in love just as quickly as we have.
