DESCRIPTION
Meet Neptune!
Whoever adopts this pup is going to have to do a DNA test because honestly...everyone who looks at him sees something different. Lab...greyhound...pittie...maybe?
All we know is that he is 1000% baby.
Neptune is about six months old and weighs just under 35lbs. We genuinely have no idea how big he will get because we don't know exactly what breeds make up this smorgasbord of cute, so keep that in mind.
While he starts off shy, Neptune is an absolute LOVE. All it takes is some time, patience, and a whole lot of baby talking and he'll be somersaulting into your lap in no time. He is a bouncy guy and immediately wants to jump up to kiss your face which is a habit we're trying to break but it's proof that there's a silly, happy puppy under all of that nervousness and insecurity. Once he's comfy with you, he just wants to be in your lap or snuggled up against you.
He isn't TERRIBLE on a leash but does have the tendency to lag behind you or pancake if something freaks him out which is...often. He's not big on approaching people first but responds well if you approach him...with a treat. And the aforementioned baby talk. He's just a pup still learning the ways of the world and will need basic training as any puppy would.
Neptune does well with other dogs and he's afraid of cats because of course he is. He's a big chicken, even with teeny tiny kittens. He would probably be fine (eventually) with dog-friendly cats. We would prefer older kids (10+) as he was a stray so we have absolutely no history on him. As gentle as he is, he does have that tendency to jump up and try to smother your face with kisses.

ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
