Come meet Simba. This is gentle and sweet boy has done well meeting kids and also loves other dogs. When it comes to other dogs, he is the adorably awkward kid on the playground who wants to play with the other kids but isn’t certain how to initiate play! If he gets to live with another dog one day, he hopes they’ll help him learn how to play!

He may initially be a little shy and he appreciates a few minutes to realize new people are safe, but volunteers all agree that he pretty quickly warms up and becomes an affectionate love! He’s known to politely crawl into volunteers’ laps for a cuddle!

One quirk of his: he doesn’t seem to care much about treats!
