-ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 60-80 lbs (mama is 59lbs)

-ESTIMATED AGE: 5 weeks (DOB 3/28/26)

-KNOWN WITH DOGS: the puppies love to play with their siblings and will be socialized with the adult dogs in their foster home

-KNOWN WITH CATS: puppies can typically be socialized with kitties with proper introductions

-KNOWN WITH KIDS: the babies are in a foster home with several children that they ADORE

-KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: The puppies are currently using litter pans as they are too young to house train. They will also be introduced to crating in the coming weeks.

-KNOWN LIKES: food, playing, long naps

-KNOWN DISLIKES: none known at this time

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Meet Talon, a little guy who is much more "cuddle" than his name suggests! If you're looking for the ultimate lap warmer, Talon is your boy. He's the first one to find a cozy spot on a human and settle in for a nap. While he has plenty of puppy playfulness, his favorite place in the world is wherever you are. In his foster home, he has become a total superstar with the kids. He's gentle, patient, and absolutely loves the attention from his mini-human friends. Whether it's a backyard adventure or a movie night on the couch, Talon is just happy to be part of the pack.


Mama Birdie came to HT from a rural shelter after being found as a stray with her companion, a 109 pound male mastiff (daddy maybe?) Birdie was only in her foster home for two days before welcoming her brood of 10! Birdie has been an INCREDIBLE mama to her babies and we are all so glad the babies were born in the safety of a loving foster home, rather than a scary shelter. Now it is time for Birdie and her whole brood to find loving families of their own!
