ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
While Hawk might be one of the biggest pups in his group, he has a heart (and a temperament) to match his size. He's the perfect example of a "big softie." One look into his sweet, soulful eyes and you'll see exactly how kind-hearted this boy really is.Hawk isn't the type to bowl you over; instead, he's the one who will lean gently against your leg or rest his heavy head on your knee for a quiet moment. He has a calm, observant nature that makes him stand out from the crowd, and his soft expression is guaranteed to melt your heart every single day.
Mama Birdie came to HT from a rural shelter after being found as a stray with her companion, a 109 pound male mastiff (daddy maybe?) Birdie was only in her foster home for two days before welcoming her brood of 10! Birdie has been an INCREDIBLE mama to her babies and we are all so glad the babies were born in the safety of a loving foster home, rather than a scary shelter. Now it is time for Birdie and her whole brood to find loving families of their own!
