Odin is the definition of a shadow dog. Whether you’re folding laundry or hanging out in the backyard, he wants to be right where the action is (or right at your feet!). He is incredibly affectionate and lives for human connection. He isn’t just a pet; he’s a loyal companion who will follow you from room to room just to make sure you’re doing okay or pick up any snacks you may have dropped. He’s also a toy enthusiast who is more than happy to show off his play skills maybe even an unboxing an order for anyone watching!

We think this handsome fellow is a Lab mix, weighing in at a sturdy 56 pounds. He is a big dog with an even bigger heart kind of guy! He has that classic, soft fluff that makes him the world’s best pillow! Odin is a great walking companion. Of course, with any rescue, the breed is our best educated guess but we’re sure he’s 100% adorable!

If you’re looking for a co pilot, Odin is your man! He absolutely loves car rides and is a dream to travel with. He’s the kind of dog who hops right into his kennel or the backseat, ready for the next destination. He may not be able to give you directions because he normally takes a nap!

Odin is a social butterfly who prefers the finer things in life like a calm group of friends rather than a rowdy mosh pit. He is playful and may get zoomies here and there or even engage in a game of chase, then a power nap. He’d be perfectly paired with a medium energy dog who enjoys playing but also knows how to relax and respect personal space.

Is Odin a fan of feline friends? That’s still a bit of a mystery! To make sure it’s a perfect match, Odin would love to have a supervised kitty sleepover to ensure they’ll be the best of buds! We believe with a slow introduction he can be a great brother to a cat, he has gentle nature and great impulse control.

Odin is a versatile guy! He’d be happy in a house with a yard or a quiet apartment. He’s a food motivated genius who already knows sit and looks absolutely adorable doing it! He’ll occasionally let his silly side show and that includes a face with a little bit of his tongue sticking out like peekaboo. In short, Odin is a fluffy bundle of love who is just waiting for a family to call his own. He’s smart, sweet, and ready to fill your home with tail wags and cuddles.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!

The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
