✨ Sugar’s Story: From Neglect to Hope
Sugar was born into a challenging environment—a home with an elderly owner suffering from dementia where indiscriminate breeding occurred. Despite her rough start, she has emerged with a gentle spirit. While she is naturally shy and timid due to her past, she has zero aggression and simply needs a patient heart to show her the world is a safe place.
💛 Personality & Temperament
Sugar is the definition of a "low-maintenance" companion. She is quiet, observant, and grows deeply attached to those she trusts.
With People: She is cautious at first but never aggressive. Once she warms up, she will follow you faithfully. She is neutral toward both men and women.
With Kids: While she isn't aggressive, she is shy and prefers to keep her distance rather than approach first.
With Other Pets: She is excellent with other dogs and completely indifferent to cats—making her a great fit for a multi-pet household.
Zero Issues: No separation anxiety, no excessive barking, and no resource guarding (food or toys).
🐕 Walk & Training
Sugar is well-behaved on walks and does not have a strong prey drive (she won't chase squirrels or small animals). She is a "homebody" who enjoys a peaceful stroll followed by a long nap.
🏠 The Ideal Home for Sugar
Sugar would thrive in a calm, predictable environment. Because she is a bit timid, she would love a family that understands it may take a little time for her to come out of her shell. In return, she will offer you a lifetime of quiet loyalty and gentle companionship.
