In October 2022, a tiny puppy was abandoned and left in a crowded shelter in Gyeongju, South Korea. Her 10 days were up, and she was placed on the euthanasia list. But fate had other plans. In November, Halo was rescued—given a second chance to show the world how much love she has to give.

The Jindo, a Korean native breed renowned for its loyalty, courage, and intelligence, is highly prized for its unwavering loyalty to its family. This medium sized, spitz type dog has a distinctive double coat that sheds seasonally. Known for their independent nature, Jindos require early socialization and firm, consistent training. With a strong prey drive and territorial instincts, they excel as hunters and watchdogs. Their deep bonds with their owners make them loving companions, albeit not suitable for inexperienced owners.
