The Jindo, a Korean native breed renowned for its loyalty, courage, and intelligence, is highly prized for its unwavering loyalty to its family. This medium sized, spitz type dog has a distinctive double coat that sheds seasonally. Known for their independent nature, Jindos require early socialization and firm, consistent training. With a strong prey drive and territorial instincts, they excel as hunters and watchdogs. Their deep bonds with their owners make them loving companions, albeit not suitable for inexperienced owners.
The Thai Ridgeback is a rare and ancient breed originating in Thailand, known for their distinctive ridge of hair running along their back in the opposite direction of their coat. These medium sized, muscular dogs are independent, loyal, and protective, making them excellent guard dogs. With a history dating back over 400 years, Thai Ridgebacks have a strong prey drive, high energy levels, and require firm handling and early socialization to thrive as loving family pets.
