If you are looking for a travel-sized hiking buddy, Lena might be the one for you. Lena is a sweet and energetic girl. She's a young adult and has the temperament and appearance between a Jack Russell and Border Collie.
She is potty trained, rides well in the car and does great in a crate. She's good with other dogs but a little too interested in cats (she may be ok with a very dog savvy cat). She is very smart, treat-motivated and trainable. Her foster has been working on leash training and recall. She would do best in an active household willing to continue working with her.
She can climb fences and wouldn't hesitate to take herself on a run, so a secure yard is a must. She's small enough to be suitable for an apartment as long as daily walks or hikes are taken.
Will chase chickens and livestock.
