DESCRIPTION
Meet Tammy!
Tammy is an adult Cattle Dog Terrier mix with a low energy level and a gentle, shy demeanor. She comes to us as a transfer from another shelter, where she was originally brought in as a stray along with her puppies.
Tammy is understandably nervous and fearful in new situations. She is okay with being picked up but can be unsure and needs patience and reassurance. With calm handling and a quiet environment, she begins to relax and show her softer side.
She is looking for a peaceful home where she can build confidence at her own pace. Tammy will benefit from continued socialization and positive reinforcement to help her feel safe and secure. With time and understanding, she has so much love to give.
Excited to find your new family member at Wags and Whiskers? Our pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Many come from unknown backgrounds, so please consider the 10+ year commitment.
