Pancake - Jack Russell Terrier and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in South Elgin, Illinois

Meet Pancake!

Sweet, petite, and full of personality, Pancake is a 9-pound Rat Terrier mix who is looking for a loving home to call her own. After being surrendered by her owner, this little girl is ready for a fresh start with someone who will give her the time, patience, and love she deserves.

Pancake absolutely loves her people and enjoys spending time with familiar pets. She's a big fan of toys and especially loves playtime with her favorite humans. When it's time to relax, Pancake is perfectly happy curling up in her crate and enjoying some quiet time. And, of course, she loves to eat-so treats are definitely one way to win her heart!

Pancake can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but give her some time, patience, and plenty of kisses, and you'll soon see her sweet personality shine. She can experience some anxiety, but we believe that with the right home, a predictable routine, and a family willing to help her feel safe and secure, she has the potential to make wonderful progress.

Pancake likes to know what's happening around the house and enjoys being part of the action, but she also appreciates having some alone time to relax and recharge. She's looking for someone who understands that sometimes the littlest dogs need a little extra time to feel comfortable-and who will love her through it all.

If you're looking for a small companion with a big heart, Pancake might just be your perfect match! Come meet this adorable little girl and see if you're the one she's been waiting for.
