Stewie came to us from a partner shelter in North Carolina, where he found himself an injured stray at a hair salon. The shelter then contacted us for help due to his injured leg. He has been seen a few times by our orthopedic veterinarian and is considered fully healed now. You almost wouldn't even know there was ever a broken leg! The benefits of being young!

Stewie is fortunate to be in one of our experienced foster homes, this is what she had to say:

"Stewie is a comical playful guy. He loves playing with other dogs, especially when he can run and get his zoomies out! He has recently started leash walks and is doing well- he enjoys the new sights and smells on his excursions. He is smart and is learning a few commands like "sit" and "stay." He is also making great progress with housetraining- He will now go to the door when he has to go out. True to the terrier & chihuahua breed, he is a loyal pup and will follow you wherever you go. He is going to make a great companion."
