Oliver - Jack Russell Terrier Dog for Adoption in Clatskanie, Oregon

Oliver is a purebred registered English Jack Russell terrier. He is 10 years old. Oliver is 12 inches at the shoulder and weighs 18 pounds.
Oliver came into rescue as a result of baby on the way plus toddler in the home. He is not thrilled with small children - so no littles, no boisterous visiting grands, and NO cats or small fuzzies.
Oliver is house trained and will crate quietly if needed. He is also dog door trained and rides well in the car. He pulls a bit but is fair on leash, and he gets along amiably (doesn't care) with other dogs.
Oliver lived with an older couple for an extended period of time before moving back to baby land, and he has gotten his own way for a long time. So, yes, he is opinionated and thinks he should be the king of the house. Terrier-experienced adults will recognize this behaviour and be able to handle it.
Oliver likes to play ball and destroy squeaky toys.
Oliver's minus is he is vocal and protective of his home against possible invaders. Again, he settles down when he has competent humans in charge. And, boy, is he handsome!

Oliver is in foster care in the Boise area. His adoption fee is $100.
