Chewy is a 6‐year‐old Jack Russell mix weighing about 17 pounds, and she's a total sweetheart. She was surrendered to us when her owner became too elderly to continue caring for her, and despite the big change, Chewy has remained gentle, friendly, and incredibly loving. She has done wonderfully with every human and dog she has met here.

She is carrying a little extra weight, but with a healthy routine and regular walks, she should trim down nicely. We also provided her with a dental cleaning, and aside from that, our veterinary team cleared her as healthy and ready for adoption. Her adoption fee is $300.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether she is housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
