Meet Luna: The Gentle Goofball

Luna is a smart, curious, and confident girl with a fun-loving personality. She has a wonderful balance of independence and affection—she is happy entertaining herself but never turns down attention or a good belly rub from her people.

This energetic girl loves playing fetch, preferably with two matching balls, and proudly running around while swinging her rope toy. She enjoys exciting bursts of activity but is equally happy to settle down and relax once the fun is over.

Luna enjoys meeting people and is always eager to make new friends. She enjoys playing with other dogs who like to bounce around with her. She needs reminders to take breaks with dogs who dont enjoy her play style. She previously lived successfully with a cat, although her experience with children and small animals is currently unknown.

A clever and food-motivated student, Luna already knows sit and come and is learning to wait politely at doors and before leaving her crate. She is fully house trained, sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate, and has stayed comfortably crated for a few hours while her foster is away.

Luna is still learning her leash manners and may pull when excited, so her future family should be prepared to continue working with her using positive, consistent training. She handles new environments well, travels nicely in the car, and isnt bothered by everyday noises such as the vacuum.

Luna is looking for a family that will appreciate her playful energy, gentle heart, and goofy personality. With continued guidance, plenty of fetch, and lots of love, she will make a wonderful companion and loyal friend to the whole family.
