Introducing Rocket Man himself, Sir Elton! He's an approx. 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound mix, weighing 70 pounds (as of 10/25/26). He was surrendered when his owners in Tennessee no longer had any time for him. They had him tied to a 100ft run and that was it, but just like his hit song, he's still standing!

This large boy is full of everything! Energy, love, playfulness, a crazy ability to sing and play piano at the same time... He is the whole package! Sir Elton is a very sweet boy who loves to be with people. He does know a few commands and can
behave on a leash. He has done okay with playgroups but definitely needs the testosterone to get out of his system.

We're not sure if he's met cats, but Sir Elton does love strangers and children. He is a great, energetic dog who just needs an owner who knows the breed, can help him with house-training as he adjusts to your home, and give him the love and training he needs. Having a large yard would help him live his best life as he settles in. Don't go breaking his heart! Adopt Sir Elton today!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
