DESCRIPTION
Meet Toffee! This handsome boy is around 7–8 months old and is expected to grow to about 55 lbs fully grown. Toffee was found in a Walmart parking lot in Lebanon in November 2025 alongside three other puppies, and he’s been thriving in foster care ever since.
Toffee is the total package, playful, affectionate, social, and incredibly sweet. He loves making new dog friends of all sizes and has a gentle, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around. Whether he’s wrestling with toys in the yard, going for a hike, or curling up on the couch for a nap, Toffee is happiest just being part of the family.
He is potty and kennel trained, walks beautifully on leash, and already knows some basic commands. Toffee loves chew toys and bones, but he’s also an excellent sharer and shows no food or toy aggression. He does great with children and would fit well into many different types of homes.
Toffee is a medium-energy dog who enjoys both adventure and downtime. He’s currently being fostered in Bend and is available for meet-and-greets throughout the Pacific Northwest. Toffee is ready to start his next and best adventure with you! Applications at therawleyproject.org
ABOUT: IRISH TERRIER DOG BREED
The Irish Terrier is an intelligent and courageous breed known for its loyalty and protective nature. They have a distinct wiry coat that comes in shades of red, making them easily recognizable. With a playful and energetic personality, Irish Terriers thrive on regular exercise and mental stimulation. They are affectionate towards their families and can be wary of strangers, making them excellent watchdogs. Their strong willed nature requires firm, consistent training and socialization from an experienced owner.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
