Meet Kiwi

Kiwi is an 11-year-old Hound mix with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. This handsome senior boy found himself in a shelter after being surrendered by his owner. Sadly, senior dogs are often overlooked in shelters and rarely get the second chance they deserve. We couldn’t bear the thought of Kiwi spending his golden years behind kennel walls, so we brought him north in hopes of helping him find the forever family he’s been waiting for.

Kiwi is everything we love about senior dogs—calm, loving, and appreciative of every ounce of affection he receives. He is incredibly sweet with people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and has wonderful house manners. Kiwi is potty trained, making him an easy addition to just about any home.

He has not yet been tested with cats, but he has shown himself to be a kind and easygoing companion. Kiwi is fully vetted and ready to start the next chapter of his life.

All Kiwi wants is a cozy place to rest, a family to love, and the chance to spend his retirement years surrounded by comfort and companionship.
