Marlee is a gentle soul who enjoys attention and will happily accept pets from her favorite people. Once she gets to know you, she’s a wonderful companion who appreciates calm, respectful interactions. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the center of attention every second—she’s perfectly content simply being near her people and enjoying life at her own pace.
Like many huskies, Marlee is smart and has a mind of her own! She knows what she likes (including having very specific opinions about her meals) and will do best with a family who understands that she appreciates a little personal space around food. With patience, consistency, and respect for her boundaries, Marlee is ready to build a trusting relationship with her forever family.
Outside, Marlee loves to explore and follow her nose. She’s not much of a toy enthusiast, but she has plenty of curiosity to keep her busy! On walks, she’s a pleasant partner with minimal pulling—she just likes to wander and zigzag as she checks out everything along the way.
