Meet Chanell!

Chanell is a 4-year-old spayed female Husky mix with a heart as big as her love for the great outdoors. This beautiful girl absolutely thrives when she's outside, whether she's soaking up the sunshine, exploring, or simply enjoying some quality time with her people. And when the adventure winds down? She's more than happy to soak up all the pets and pampering you're willing to give.

Chanell can be a little skittish at times, so she would do best in a home with children ages 10 and up who can respect her space and help her feel safe as she settles in. She may be open to sharing her home with another dog, and while we don't have any history of her living with cats, we're open to considering applicants with feline friends.

Her ideal home would be one that enjoys spending plenty of time outdoors, she's the perfect companion for an active family who loves fresh air and adventure.

And while Chanell might look a little like a coyote... we promise she's all dog (we checked! ). According to Embark, she's 73.3% Siberian Husky, 14.4% Chow Chow, and 12.3% German Shepherd Dog, a unique mix that makes her as special as she is stunning.

The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
