Meet Vader!

Don't let the name fool you—this handsome boy isn't looking to rule the galaxy, just your heart (and maybe your backyard)! Born April 2, 2026, Vader is a 45 lb Husky, Blue Heeler, and Catahoula mix with a heart as big as his personality. He also has the most piercing baby blue eyes you'll ever see!

Vader is a fun-loving, high-energy pup who thrives on action. Whether it's running, wrestling, or playing a high-speed game of chase, he's always ready for an adventure. He gets along great with other dogs and loves having a canine buddy to wrestle with. Because of his size and bouncy puppy play style, he'd do best in a home with older kids (he's done great around ages 5, 8, and 10) who can keep up with his fun energy without getting knocked over.

When playtime is over, Vader's sweet side shines through. He is incredibly affectionate and will happily soak up all the pets, snuggles, and love you're willing to give.

Vader's Highlights:



Smart & Learns Quickly: Knows "sit" and "lay down," is pee-pad trained, and has great crate manners!


Road Trip Ready: An absolute star in the car—settles right down and rides quietly.


Brave & Confident: Loud noises don't phase him at all. Thunderstorms, fireworks, and big trucks are no big deal to this brave guy.


Warm-Hearted: He might give a quick bark to announce a new friend arriving, but he warms up to strangers within minutes.



What He's Working On: Vader is still a young pup, so he has typical puppy quirks like chewing and a love for digging. He accepts a leash well but needs continued leash-walking practice. Because he's an adventurous mix of working breeds, he loves to explore and will need a secure space so he doesn't wander off on his own solo missions.

You must be at least 25 and live within a 5-hour driving radius of Thompson PA. We check veterinary references and require all pets within the home to be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and maintained on heartworm and flea & tick preventatives.

These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
