DESCRIPTION

Meet Orca!

Don't let that adorable little beard fool you-Orca may look like a distinguished old man, but he's still just a 7-month-old puppy!

Orca is a 30-pound neutered pup from El Paso who arrived at the shelter when he was only 3 months old. That means he has spent almost his entire puppyhood in a kennel instead of experiencing all the fun things a puppy should-playing, exploring, learning, and growing up with a family.

Orca is ready for a change of scenery and, more importantly, a family of his own. He has so much life ahead of him and deserves the chance to finally experience what it's like to be loved in a home.

After 150+ days in the shelter, this little "old man" is hoping someone will look past his beard and see the playful puppy underneath.

Orca is ready to trade his kennel for a couch and start the life he's been waiting for!

ABOUT: HUSKY DOG BREED

The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
