Adira - Husky and White German Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Silver Spring, Maryland

Adira is a 2 year old, 60lb husky mix that equally loves people and other dogs.

She is very social and is immediately best friends with everyone she meets. If you're sitting she melts into your lap ready for pets and attention. She adores other dogs and loves nothing more than being able to wrestle and run with her dog buddies. She would love to have a dog sibling.

She is a dog that will follow you around to make sure she's not missing out on anything. Cooking dinner? She's there! Watching Tv? She's already next to you asking for pets!

She's a smart cookie and very food motivated, which makes her eager to learn and a great at training. Adira genuinely wants to please and picks things up quickly.

She is crate trained and sleeps through the night but she may sing the song of her people at first to let you know she still exists and would like to be included. (hello, FOMO ). Give her a Kong and she settles in nicely, but apartment living may not be for her.

You do NOT need a fenced yard to adopt Adora.
She’s perfectly content with walks, playtime, and time spent with her people. But if you do have a fenced yard, this athletic girl can scale a 4 foot fence, so she will need supervision outdoors.
