Meet Roxy!

Roxy is a 7-year-old Husky/Retriever cross with a whole lot of love to give! Her patience and sweet demeanor made it easy for us to get her vaccinations and introduce her to new friends. She has done wonderfully in our doggie playgroups with dogs of all sizes and has such a sweet, easygoing demeanor. Roxy is also good with cats!

Roxy has been returned to us several times, and we think it's time to finally find her the forever home she deserves. Her biggest quirk? Roxy loves to play keep-away! Because of this, she cannot safely be trusted off leash in an unsecured area. However, she has done excellent in a secure, fenced yard where she can enjoy some freedom without turning it into a game of “catch me if you can.”

On leash, Roxy is a wonderful companion with a great demeanor and is happy to explore the world by your side. Whether she's scouring the planet for treasure on a walk, enjoying some playtime in a securely fenced yard, or simply hanging out inside with her people, Roxy is happiest when she's included.

And those eyes! You can just tell there's a lot of thought behind them—and even more love.
