Strawberry - sweet, gentle and affectionate - Husky Dog for Adoption in Oriskany, New York

Strawberry the sweetheart ! She’s a little over one years-old ... a young grey and white husky mix with a kind, gentle and sweet personality. She’s 50 pounds of love, affection and curiosity, with a soft presence that makes her kind of perfect.

Strawberry is a sweet, resilient girl with a little extra character to match her name. She developed glaucoma in one eye, and our veterinary team made the compassionate decision to remove it so she could be comfortable and pain-free.

Now, Strawberry is happily living life with one eye—and it certainly does not slow her down. She is playful, loving, and ready to enjoy all the walks, cuddles, adventures, and cozy naps that come with a forever home. She can be a little timid at first, but she warms up quickly and melts into her humans. She is ready for a family who wants a gentle love, but who also likes to go on adventures.

Strawberry loves everyone she meets, including both kids and adults! She’s playful and respectful. Her energy is medium, which makes her the perfect mix for families who love to hike and then chill together. She has been around dogs in different settings and always does amazingly well, so we think she’d love to be part of a pack. She’s also spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, crate trained and house trained.
