Meet Captain!

Captain is a handsome Husky that is around 1 year old. He was adopted in December but was recently returned through no fault of his own. Captain is a friendly, slightly aloof boy who loves spending time in the play yard, especially when he gets the zoomies! While he enjoys exploring independently outdoors, he always comes back for attention and affection from his people. He loves toys, has a fun personality, and would thrive with an active family that enjoys adventure and exploration. According to his previous adopter, Captain is both housebroken and crate-trained. Captain would do best in a home with children ages 8 and older. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys meeting new canine friends, though he prefers coexisting over roughhousing. A companion he can simply hang out with would be the perfect match for him! A meet and greet would take place at the shelter with other dogs living in the home to ensure it is a good match. No kitty friends for Captain, please!
