Honeybee - Husky Dog for Adoption in Millfield, Ohio

AVAILABLE NOW

Honeybee is around 5 years old. She is possibly mixed with coyote or wolf. Honeybee is having a DNA test run, and we are waiting on the result to determine exactly what she is mixed with. She came in very emaciated and it was found that she was polluted with hookworms and is, unfortunately, heartworm positive. She was treated for the hookworms and has gained 6 pounds so far. Heartworm treatment is pending. Owners will need to be cognizant that she is a climber and will go over a fence with extreme ease. She is a super sweet dog. Honeybee currently weighs 50 pounds. Meeting dogs is by appointment, walk-ins accepted but if someone has an appointment priority will be given. Please call the shelter (740/593-5415) to make an appointment. All adopters must bring in kids and other dogs in the household for a meet and greet before adoption.

Adoption fees are $125 ($65 for dogs 7 years old and older) and include dog license, basic vaccinations, heartworm test on adult dogs, and spay or neuter (ARRIVED 9/25/26)
