Percy is a neutered male puppy husky weighing 50lbs that ended up at the Fort Worth shelter as a stray. His dob was put at 7-23-2025. Poor sweet young boy was out of time due to overcrowding space at the shelter. He is a sweet boy that really only talks if he needs something ie dinner, potty, or playtime. He is very friendly to people of all ages and dog friendly to both male and female dogs. He has played with medium and large dogs of all sorts of breeds. He is crate trained and potty trained. He is working on all his commands—sit, come, stay, heel for leash walking, off for not jumping on his humans, and nice or gentle for taking treats. He rides well in the car and has no separation anxiety. His ideal home could be a single person or couple or family with school age children. He could be the only husky in the home or could have doggie friends in his forever home! He is medium energy not hyper and not a couch potato but somewhere perfect in between. He could go on adventures, play in the pool, or hang with his people watching television!
On behalf of Karen Perl, the adoption fee is $350. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee will remain the same. Thank you so much for your valuable support in helping these dogs find loving homes.
As a contribution-based rescue, we do not rely on monthly sponsorships or ongoing fundraising to support our mission. Our adoption contribution is $350, which helps cover the veterinary care and daily expenses for the animals in our program.
