Sterling - Husky and German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Sterling was found dumpster diving for food at a local school. He is only about a year old, and it is hard to say whether he was abandoned or has been fending for himself all his life. He is currently underweight at 37 pounds, but is otherwise healthy. Sterling is likely a Husky/German Shepherd mix with a tan coat and beautiful caramel colored eyes. So far, Sterling is shy but curious, calm, and great with other dogs. He's submissive to an alpha dog and has not chased the neighborhood cats. He likes to play and chew on shoes. He loves cuddles and wants to lick you all over. He's potty trained, crate trained, and working on learning a few tricks.
