This little girls is a 40 lb. Siberian Husky mix, and her estimated birthday 1/21/24

Marisol is a stunning girl with the most loving personality. She is the ultimate best bestie! A perfect snuggle buddy, hiking partner, ball fetcher, pup cup princess, and personal cheerleader. She loves the water. She would be a perfect companion for hiking, trips to the lake or the beach, and for cuddles at the end of a long day.

Marisol is a very smart girl. She knows basic commands like “sit”, and she is eager to learn.

Marisol’s story is one of resilience and strength. She was rescued as a stray, with a gaping wound at the base of her tail, and severely emaciated. She underwent multiple wound repair surgeries before having to have tail amputation surgery. Through it all, she has been nothing but patient and loving.

Marisol is the most deserving girl. Now, all she needs is you 💕

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track
the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.

*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months)
are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.

*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests
are not included in adoption.

*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs
booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

*All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their
adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!

These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
