About Maui’s Breed:
Our best guess is that Maui is a Husky mixed breed. Huskies are known for their striking looks, sharp intelligence, and big, expressive personalities. They’re energetic, social dogs who love adventure, mental stimulation, and being part of the action. With their working dog roots, they thrive when they have a job to do — whether that’s running, hiking, playing, or learning new skills.

He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a doggie sibling — or two, or three. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and has wonderful house manners. His gorgeous amber eyes will melt your heart, and his enthusiasm for life is contagious. On leash, he can be a little all over the place (there’s just so much to see!), but he’s working on it. Maui would make an amazing adventure buddy — camping, hiking, water fun, exploring — he’s up for it all. Oh – and he’s a dream passenger in the car (he will settle right down and even snooze on the way to wherever he is going). The world is his oyster, and he’s ready to share it with you!
