DESCRIPTION
Meet Neji Ronan, a handsome 3-year-old, 50-pound white Husky-Shepherd mix with the heart of a best friend and the spirit of an adventure buddy! Neji is neutered, crate trained, house trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks nicely on leash, and knows his basic commands. He loves getting out and doing things with his person-whether that means hiking, heading to the dog park, playing catch, or simply hanging out together. As for his breed, Husky-Shepherd is our best guess based on his looks, but without a DNA test, we can never know for sure!
What makes Neji truly special is the bond he forms with his person. He is an incredibly loyal companion who wants to be right there beside you. Once he trusts you, he'll follow you around, stay close, and happily settle down next to you when the adventures are over. One of his sweetest little ways of asking for affection is to gently lay his head on your hands-his adorable signal that it's time for cuddles and pets. He's playful, goofy, affectionate, and the kind of dog who can make an ordinary day feel better simply by being there.
Neji does need a little patience when meeting new people. New faces can be scary for him, and if someone approaches before he feels comfortable, his instinct is to retreat and hide behind the person he trusts. This isn't new for Neji-he was shy when he was first adopted from ACT, too, and needed a few days before he felt safe enough to open his heart. Give this boy the time and space to build trust at his own pace, though, and you'll discover what makes Neji so unforgettable: underneath that initial shyness is a devoted companion who, once he chooses you, just wants to be by your side.
