New people, unfamiliar sounds, and all the changes around her can be overwhelming. Lenore isn't the kind of girl who will immediately run up to greet you with a wagging tail. Instead, she needs something a little more special: time, patience, and someone willing to let her find her courage at her own pace.

Imagine being so unsure of the world that your first instinct is to run from it. That's where Lenore is right now. But being scared doesn't mean she doesn't have love to give. It simply means she'll need a little help discovering that she doesn't have to face everything alone.
