Bruce is an easygoing, affectionate companion who strikes a great balance between playtime and unwinding on the couch. A communicative dog, he has an endearing "talking style" when he's happy and gently tapping you with a paw when he wants attention.

He gets along wonderfully with kids of all ages and other dogs, though he would do best as an only pet or with a single canine sibling so he can enjoy plenty of one-on-one time. Bruce loves sunbathing outside, having a bit of wet food mixed into his dry kibble, and bonding with his person. A fenced yard is a nice bonus but not required as long as he gets regular potty breaks. He ignores cats he sees on walks, but does not currently live with a cat.

Bruce was found as a stray by a community member who brought him into IAR.
