Meet Charlotte!

If you're looking for a dog who can keep up on your adventures but is just as happy relaxing beside you at the end of the day, Charlotte might be your perfect match.

At approximately 4 years old and 45 pounds, this beautiful Husky mix has quickly won over everyone she's met with her sweet nature, playful spirit, and adorable personality. She greets the people she loves with the cutest little happy dance—kicking her feet from side to side while her tail wags a mile a minute. And if she decides it's time for some affection, she'll happily flop onto her back and politely request one of her favourite things in the world: belly rubs.

Charlotte is the best of both worlds. She has a medium to high energy level and loves getting outside for her daily walks, running around the yard, and trying to convince her dog friends that zoomies are always a good idea. Once she's burned off some energy, she's perfectly content to curl up on the couch or relax nearby while you go about your day.

She's a smart girl who genuinely enjoys learning, especially when treats are involved! Charlotte already knows several commands, including sit, stay, paw, other paw, down, and "out." She's eager to please, highly food motivated (treats and carrots are always a win!), and continues to make great progress with her leash manners.

Charlotte has done wonderfully living with another dog and loves having a canine companion to spend her days with. She has also been respectful of the cat in her foster home, making her a great candidate for a home with dog-savvy cats. While she's friendly with people and enjoys meeting new faces, she's looking for a home with older, dog-savvy children, as her size and enthusiasm could accidentally knock over little ones during an excited greeting.

Like many Husky mixes, Charlotte has a healthy prey drive, so squirrels and other small critters are incredibly exciting! She'll need a family who understands her breed traits and will keep her safely leashed or in a secure fenced yard while continuing her positive reinforcement training.

One of Charlotte's most endearing traits is her classic Husky personality. She has the sweetest little "talks" with her people, occasionally lets out a bark to ask for attention, and somehow manages to make every interaction just a little more entertaining. She's also wonderfully easy to live with—house trained, trustworthy when left home alone, respectful in the house, and happy to free roam while her family is away.

Charlotte would thrive with an active individual, couple, or family who enjoys getting outdoors and wants a loyal companion to share life's adventures. Whether you're heading out for a hike, exploring a new trail, or simply relaxing on the couch after a long day, Charlotte will be right there beside you, happiest just being part of your family.

Charlotte has already shown just how much love she has to give. Now she's simply waiting for a family to call her own. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a playful heart, a gentle soul, and plenty of Husky charm, Charlotte can't wait to meet you.
