ARCHIE - Husky and Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Broomfield, Colorado

Meet Archie at Petco! 8031 Wadsworth Blvd Arvada CO 80003, Saturdays from 12-3:30pm.

Archie is a rockstar! He loves his sister, Eloise, and they do everything together. His favorite past time is snuggling with her and playing games like tug-o-war, chasing the ball, and playing with any and all toys you can give him. Since he hasn't gone on any walks yet because he doesn't have all his vaccines, he is starting the process of potty training. He's super smart and understands how to use the pee pads, but sometimes needs a little patience and guidance as he's not a pro yet. He does super well when it's nap time, he goes into his crate and will start sleeping within a few minutes if he's tired enough. Archie and Eloise typically play for an hour or two, sleep for ideally two hours, and he will usually settle down (there is some whining when placed into his ex-pen + crate area), but will calm and start sleeping within five minutes or so. He is really food motivated. Doesn't like bath time at all, it seems to be a big stressor. He's also really good around cats, seems to be curious but doesn't bark too much or seem aggressive towards them. He also doesn't bark whenever there are other dogs or he hears other dogs, which is good!

In addition to their remarkable abilities, shepherds are often characterized by their distinctive appearance, including a sturdy build, alert expression, and a signature double coat that provides insulation and protection in various climates.
