Calliope - Husky Dog for Adoption in Benton Harbor, Michigan

Meet Calliope! She's super-playful, and very friendly! She's a smart, gentle girl who picks up on routines and rules quick; she'll be leading you around if you give her a chance. She was a stray, and we haven't had her in a foster home so cannot confirm that she's house trained. She's on the young side of adulthood, and still loving life!

The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive.
