Meet Calista
This beautiful 3-year-old Great Dane mix was found in the the Southern California desert a few weeks ago... and now she’s finally safe in foster. Since then, she’s shown us exactly who she is—sweet, gentle, and so deserving of love.
Calista has a calm, easygoing personality. She gets along well with other dogs, especially mellow ones, and does great with both big and small pups. She’s not looking for chaos... just a soft place to land and someone to love her.
We believe she may be a mix of Great Dane, Labrador, and possibly Husky—giving her that perfect blend of gentle giant and soulful companion.
She does need medical attention for her right front leg, which she’s currently favoring. We’re working on getting her fully evaluated so she can feel her best.
Right now, she’s safe in foster...
but what she really needs is a forever home.
Someone to show her that she’s finally where she belongs.

Adoption fee is $250—but please know this doesn’t even come close to covering what we invest in each dog. Every Rescue Lyfe dog is microchipped, fully vaccinated, and spayed or neutered. Siberian Huskies are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and strong willed nature, making them best suited for active families and experienced dog owners who can provide them with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
