DESCRIPTION
This gorgeous boy is Teddy. He is a Husky/Pomeranian that is about 2 years old and weighs about 14 lbs. This boy may be small, but he is definitely Husky! He is very energetic, active, and constantly on the go. Teddy is sweet and fun, but not exactly what you would call a lap dog. He is not a dog for the first time dog owner. We are looking for an owner/family that has experience with the Husky breed and is understanding of the grooming requirements Teddy has a thick undercoat that gets matted if he does not have regular grooming. We are requiring applicants live in a single family home with a fenced yard because Teddy loves, loves, loves being outside soaking in the sun and running off his energy. He uses a doggy door in his foster home so that would be a plus for him as well. He would also benefit from having a compatible doggy friend that he can play with. Teddy does well with cats and kids as well. Teddy is leash and kennel trained and does well on car rides. APPLICATIONS RECEIVED THAT DO NOT MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
If you are interested in meeting Teddy, please complete an online application at https://hopeanimalrescueofiowa.duplie.com/forms/196/dog-application
Adoption fee is $250 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age appropriate vaccines.
