Husky and Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption in Powell, Ohio

Hi everyone! I’m Azula

I may not breathe blue fire like my Airbender namesake, but I do have a special power—my loving blue gaze that will absolutely melt your heart (just ask my foster mom!).

I’m a 40 pound, 1-year-old Lab/Husky mix with a playful spirit and a big, affectionate heart. I love being around my people and will happily stick close by for pets, cuddles, and attention. I didn’t get nearly enough attention in the shelter after i was abandoned, so I’m soaking it all up now. I also get along great with other dogs and enjoy having playmates!

Kids? I like them too! I can get a little excited when meeting new friends and might jump up at first, so I’d do best with slightly older kiddos or a family who can help me practice polite greetings.

Fetch, tug, and chase are all top-tier games in my book. But if I’m being honest... treats are everything. I love them, which makes me a fast learner! In just the first week in my foster home, I learned Sit, Crate, Shake, and Touch—and I’m excited to keep learning more.

I walk nicely on a leash and settle down quietly in my crate—pretty impressive, right? I’m still working on a few things: I’m not a big fan of car rides or baths, but I handle them like a champ when needed. I like cats a little too much, so a cat-free home would be best for me.
