Meet Auggie!!
Auggie is a 3mo old mix breed pup. The vet says husky/lab/heeler mix based his characteristics. Hes about 12lbs now but has smaller paws so we dont think he'll get real big. Hes doing awesome with all the puppy things like potty training, kennel training ect. He is good with other dogs and so far hasnt bothered the resident cat. Auggie loves people and kids but he is a teething pup so he can nip. Auggie is available for adoption on contract to finish his vetting.
ABOUT: AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG BLUE HEELER DOG BREED
The Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Blue Heeler, is a hardworking and intelligent breed originally developed in Australia for herding cattle. Renowned for their endurance and agility, these medium sized dogs have a striking blue or red speckled coat and alert, curious expression. With a strong herding instinct and boundless energy, they require mental stimulation and physical activity to thrive. Blue Heelers are loyal, protective, and make excellent companions for active individuals or families willing to provide the engagement and exercise they need.
The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive. Proper training and regular exercise are crucial to keep these playful and social animals happy and well adjusted.
