Joey is an adorable 4-month-old hound mix who came to us from Rocky Mount Animal Shelter (known there as Sasquatch). He's friendly, affectionate, playful, and full of puppy energy!

He loves exploring, playing, spending time with people, and getting to know other dogs.

The Black Mouth Cur is a versatile and intelligent hunting dog known for its strong work ethic and loyalty. Originating in the southern United States, these medium to large sized dogs are muscular and athletic. Their distinctive feature is the black mask on their muzzle, giving them their name.
